How to properly cleanse your face?
As you know by now, at Daily Habits we love to double cleanse. The first cleanse is done with an oil cleanse, to help remove makeup, oil, dirt, and any kind of debris on the skin. Oil attracts oil, which makes it more effective, as other water-based cleansers will not be able to properly remove oil-based dirt on the skin.
Worried about clogged pores? Not all oils clog pores, using the right oil cleanser is key to the success of your skincare routine. Our favorite oil cleanser is the Seabuckthorn oil cleanser, it works amazing on all skin types, makes it a great first step.
The second cleanser will help clean the remaining residue of your first cleanse, leaving your skin smooth and ready to absorb all the good-for-you ingredients you decide to apply afterwards.
The second cleanser could be water or cream based. It depends on your skin type. Dry and sensitive skin often reacts better to creamy cleansers. Oily skin could benefit from gel based or gentle foaming cleansers.
